Course Objectives

The primary goal of this course is to equip IT service management practitioners in digitally evolving organizations. These practitioners, already familiar with traditional IT service management concepts, are now seeking to enhance their confidence in discussing ‘digital,’ develop practical skills and become valuable contributors in the digital domain.

The course focuses on the primary activities within the digital value chain. It encompasses the practitioner’s actions and the resources they utilize throughout the lifecycle of digital products to:

– Make informed digital investments

– Efficiently realize and deliver digital products and services

– Establish highly resilient digital products and services that can withstand disruption

– Ensure that service consumers derive value from digital products and services

– Ensure activities conform to governance, risk, and compliance requirements.

Additionally, participants will understand and learn how to apply key principles and methods of Organizational Change Management for direction, planning, and improvement. They will also gain a profound understanding of measurement and reporting principles and methods for directing, planning, and improvement, as well as how to direct, plan, and improve value streams and practices.

Requirements

  • There are no prerequisites for this course.

Target audiences

  • Attendees of this course must have successfully achieved the ITIL 4 Foundation Qualification. Ideally, candidates should possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in IT Service Management. The ITIL 4 HVIT Qualification is most suitable for individuals continuing their journey in service management, ITSM managers and aspiring ITSM managers, IT managers and practitioners involved in digital services or working in digital transformation projects, and those working within or towards high-velocity environments. Existing ITIL qualification holders wishing to expand their knowledge are also encouraged to participate. The above list is a recommendation only, and delegates may pursue as few or as many Intermediate qualifications as needed to align with their requirements.
